Quantum Graphics, Inc. Has Added the Latest in Digital Cutting Technology

Quantum Graphics, Inc. has added the latest in Digital Cutting technology to its list of services and capabilities. The i-Cut Digital Cutting system utilizes both router cutting bits and a large selection of knife attachments. It is capable of cutting through a multitude of materials including Sintra, vinyl, fluted plastic, foam core, corrugated board, styrene, and most any paper substrate.

This new equipment is the second i-Cut machine installed in the Quantum finishing department. The i-Cut technology has been the perfect complement to both the traditional and digital printing processes utilized by Quantum Graphics, and the addition of this latest machine will vastly expand the production capacity of the Quantum finishing and fulfillment team.

Quantum Graphics Has Completed Installation of an Acuity Advance HS Digital Printer.

Quantum Graphics, Inc. has completed installation of an Acuity Advance HS Digital Printer. The new printer is specifically designed for print applications that require very high resolution and detail even at the closest of viewing distances.

The Acuity HS is a flatbed digital printer and can print on a variety of rigid substrates up to 49inches x 98inches. In addition, Quantum Graphics also elected to add the roll media option to allow for longer flexible media projects which require materials such as banner vinyl and pressure sensitive vinyl. The Acuity prints 4-color process (CMYK) plus white which will allow Quantum Graphics to offer printing on clear and darker opaque materials without having to incur costs of using traditional screen print presses on smaller projects.

Inca Onset S20 – Flatbed Digital Printer Installed

Quantum Graphics, Inc. has completed installation of the Inca Onset S20. This exciting new flatbed digital printing technology is a natural fit for the tremendous growth Quantum has experienced over recent years, and is a perfect compliment to the existing two Inca flatbed printers currently in operation at our facility.

All three digital presses, the Columbia Turbo, Eagle H, and Onset S20, are capable of printing on variety of substrates up to 1.5 inches thick including Gator Board, Foam Core, Banner Vinyl, Fluted Plastic, Sintra, Styrene, Pressure Sensitive Vinyl, Rigid Paper, Static Cling, Corrugated Board, and Backlit Material. The S20, however, has a number of additional capabilities we will be able to offer our clients including increased speed, a much wider color gamut to better match critical “brand” colors, and a variety of gloss levels. The Onset S20 is capable of printing up to fifty beds per hour 63inches x 123inches at the same high quality resolution our clients have become accustomed to receiving from our facility.
